Steven Benko, PhD, '96, World Religions Major, has published an article on Monty Python's Life of Brian in the Online Journal of Religion and Film.

Dr. Benko Currently teaches at Meredith College in Raleigh North Carolina in the Department of Religious and Ethical Studies, and is Director for PRISM, the Meredith College Critical Thinking Initiative. He teaches a variety of courses on the intersection between religion, ethics and contemporary culture. He also teaches courses on religious ethics, comedy and ethics, biomedical ethics, comparative religious ethics, and religion and film. His recent research is on comedy and religion. He received his MA and Ph.D. from Syracuse University.
