Math alumni's research paper accepted for publication

Jamal Lawson, '11, had completed a research project entitled "Minimal Surface Transformations," while participating the REU program at BYU in the summer of 2010. This work had led to the publication of a paper he coauthored entitled "Embeddedness for Scherk Singly Periodic Surfaces with Higher Dihedral Symmetry," in the Journal of "Involve: A Journal of Mathematics."
