Dr. A-M. Matei was awarded a 2010 Marquette Fellowship for the study of the first eigenvalue of the p-Laplacian on compact manifolds. Marquette Fellowships are awarded to support full-time research and/or creative work over the summer at Loyola University New Orleans.
