Laura A. Jayne, M.S.
Laura Jayne joined the SMC as the student services Ccoordinator in August 2009. She also runs the Loyola Student News Service. She worked for "The Times-Picayune" for many years in many capacities, including page one editor and sports night editor. She also has worked for the Associated Press and the "Atlanta-Journal Constitution." She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications and her master's degree in counseling from Loyola.
She teaches CMMNA101 Communication Writing, CMMNA250 Journalism and CMMNA350 Advanced Journalism.
