Joe Duke spent a lifetime in broadcast journalism.  He was a photographer, reporter, managing editor and news director at TV stations ranging from KATC-TV in Lafayette, Louisiana, to KHOU-TV in Houston, Texas. His career also included more than 20 years in New Orleans at WVUE-TV, WDSU-TV and WWL-TV.   He covered earthquakes and hurricanes, political scandals and upheavals, the fight for civil rights and countless stories on the mayhem of everyday life.
