Joe Duke spent a lifetime in broadcast journalism.  He was a photographer, reporter, managing editor and news director at TV stations from KATC-TV in Lafayette, Louisiana to KHOU-TV in Houston, Texas. His career also included more than 20 years in New Orleans at WVUE-TV, WDSU-TV, and WWL-TV.   He covered earthquakes and hurricanes, political scandals and upheavals, the fight for civil rights, and countless stories on the mayhem of everyday life.

Later,  he spent a dozen years at CBS News, in positions ranging from New York Bureau Chief to Director of Recruiting, before retiring and returning to New Orleans.  He loves golf and well written news copy.   He is married to Therese Sehrt Duke, herself an accomplished TV news producer and marketing director.
