Dr. David M. Myers is author of "The Nature of Computer Games" and is an internationally-recognized scholar of  digital media and play.  He is currently working on a book-length manuscript called "Play Redux: The Anti-Aesthetic of Computer Games," which applies formalist models and methods to an analysis of digital media, digital play and computer games.
