Loyola University New Orleans School of Mass Communication alumnae Kelly Williams Brown ‘06 visited campus last week to share her experiences writing her nonfiction humor book, “Adulting: How to Become A Grownup in 468 Easy(ish) Steps.

Williams Brown, now living in Portland, worked as a reporter and columnist for various newspapers for six years. She specifically shared with students about transitioning a blog into a book. Her book started out as a blog, which now has 80,000 followers on Tumblr.

The book is due out in May through Grand Central Publishing.
