SMC Grad Lands ESPN Gig

Cameron Hill ’14 is using his Loyola degree to transform a passion for sports into a career at ESPN.

The former Wolf Pack basketball star is working as a Content Associate in Studio Production.  Hill assists with ESPN programs such as “SportsCenter,” “Numbers Never Lie” and “First Take.”  He covers a variety of sports working out of the network’s headquarters in Bristol, CT.

“Being here at ESPN has been amazing and challenging at the same time,” said Hill. “The hours have been a bit of an adjustment, but overall it is a rewarding experience.”

Hill says he’s using everything he learned at the School of Mass Communication to grow into his new job.  And he says lessons he learned from his parents are helping him adjust to life in a new city.

“I can truly credit the education I received at Loyola University to helping me navigate my transition into corporate America,” said Hill.
