The Loyola University Center for Environmental Communication (LUCEC) co-hosted a workshop for journalists on the Gulf oil disaster on August 23-25 at The Times-Picayune Headquarters. LUCEC, in conjunction with the Poynter Institute, Investigative Reporters and Editors, the Society of Environmental JournalistsAnd the Loyola University School of Mass Communication, held seminars on the oil spill led by different experts.
