Faculty members Dr. Cathy Rogers and Dr. Yolanda Cal will attend the 3rd annual Social Media for Communicators Conference in Atlanta on February 22-24. The conference, co-sponsored by the Public Relations Society of America, Ragan Communications and the Coca-Cola Company, will feature workshops hosted by social media experts.

"Social media has transformed the way we communicate. This conference will be a great opportunity for our faculty and staff to learn new techniques to help keep our program cutting edge," said staff member, Janine Sheedy, who will also be attending the conference.

The faculty and staff will attend conferences on creating public relations strategies using social media, building brands and engaging employees.
