Alumna Lucy Bustamante is leaving WWL after six years for a new position in Norfolk, VA.Bustamante, a native of New Orleans, will work as a weekend anchor and reporter for WVEC-TV, owned by WWL-TV’s Dallas-based parent company Belo Corp.

"Lucy is one of our most illustrious alums. We wish her much success in her new position," said Assistant Professor Valerie Andrews.

Bustamante began working in news as a sophomore at Loyola. She has served as an intern, nighttime assignment editor, field producer. reporter and anchor.
