Two Loyola SMC grads took home two of the biggest awards from the Public Relations Association of Louisiana New Orleans Chapter at its March meeting.

The chapter named Christine Minero Rigamer '10 its Practitioner of the Year.  Rigamer is a Communications Manager at Gambel Communications. While at Loyola she was a part of the Bateman team that placed second nationally.

John Deveney '88 won the chapter's Professional Achievement award.  He owns Deveney Communication, which specializes in healthcare, tourism & hospitality, food & beverage, manufacturing and consumer goods.  PR News named Deveney Communications its 2013 Small Firm of the Year.
