Faculty Spotlight, Dr. Anne Daniell

Anne Daniell is our Professor of the Month for November. Anne Daniell teaches in the Religious and Environmental Studies programs, and one of her most popular courses is Eco-Feminist Theologies. Dr. Daniell is interested in how religious and spiritual practices can help humans to more fully embrace our human place as members of the earth community.  She has co-edited a book on process philosophy and theology titled Process and Difference: Between Cosmological and Poststructuralist Postmodernisms and has several published articles, including Divining New Orleans, reflecting on the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.  She is currently working on an online encyclopedia article about Ecofeminism. Whenever possible, Dr. Daniell participates in the canoe trips with the Environment Program.
