ENVA student, Lucy McCain, shares her experience at CMERA shark and ray research program

Lucy McCain attended the CMERA shark and ray research program last year. Through this program, she was able to get experience with hands-on research. See what Lucy had to say about the program below:

"During last year, I had decided to attend the CMERA shark and ray research program. I loved the program! It was a really incredible opportunity to get experience with hands-on research, and I think it is a program that would really benefit marine biology students or other environmental science students that want to be involved in field work. I learned about the capture and release of specimens, and the data collection of specimens. I had such a wonderful time with the program, and learned so much not only about the specimens themselves, but what actual field work is like.
