Anthony Rizzi ’19, a student in the Environment Program, attended the 2016 annual American Public Health Association (APHA) conference in Denver, CO.

Anthony writes, "The goal of the APHA is to make the current generation the healthiest generation. I believe that is possible. The Neutral Ground Initiative could be extremely beneficial to the future of our universities and our cities. Again, a big thank you to Loyola and the Environmental Program for allowing myself and other students to reach our goals and dreams. College students have so much potential to change the world, and we all know this world needs a change, so let us be the leaders of change for a greener, healthier, and kinder tomorrow."
