Political Science major in the University Honors Program was elected as one of two student representatives on the National Collegiate Honors Council Board of Trustees

Mary Kate Andrepont, a political science major in the University Honors Program, was one of only two students elected this year to be members of the National Collegiate Honors Council Board of Trustees.  

Mary Kate is outstanding not only academically, but as a member of the Honors community.  In addition to serving this year as an Ignatian Colloquium mentor, she participates both in the University Honors Association and in multiple community engagement activities.  As a cancer (and bone-marrow transplant) survivor, she is particularly passionate about pediatric cancer, and has organized multiple efforts to support children and teenagers living with cancer, including her own non-profit, Cancer Couture.
