Young Soo Kim, Ph.D., is Assistant Professor of Political Science. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Political Science from Purdue University at West Lafayette and has taught at DePauw University and Denison University. Dr. Kim teaches courses on international relations, international relations in East Asia, ethics and politics of international human rights, humanitarian interventions, international organizations, and politics of global HIV/AIDS. His research interests surround mechanisms of foreign aid policy choices of donor countries, politics of global HIV/AIDS and AIDS policymaking, international relations of East Asia, and international relations theories. His work has appeared in several peer-reviewed journals such as Comparative European Politics, Asian Perspective, International Politics, International Area Studies Review, and Journal of International and Area Studies.
