Political Science major, Tiyanna Lords, currently serves as president of REACH. The goal of the REACH organization is to mentor and inspire teenagers from 8th to 12th grade by instilling in them the importance of higher education.

The REACH organization was founded in the 2014 fall semester.  The goal of the organization is to mentor and inspire teenagers from 8th to 12th grade by instilling in them the importance of higher education and raising the bar. The purpose is to help them understand how they can reach a higher education and also teach them the importance of giving back to the community through community service. The organization can assist them in preparing for big exams (SAT, ACT, LEAP Test, etc.) and be examples of the benefits of hard work.
