Michael Madary specializes in the philosophy of perception and the ethics of emerging technology. He received his Ph.D. in Philosophy from Tulane University in 2007 and has recently completed a post-doctoral research project in Mainz, Germany. Michael's publications include Visual Phenomenology (MIT Press, 2017) and the first code of conduct for immersive technology, published in Frontiers in Robotics and AI.
