A completed application for adult part-time admission.
A statement of your educational objectives and reasons for wishing to attend Loyola (150-word minimum) that should be uploaded with your completed online application.
Official transcripts from every college or university you have attended, even if you did not receive credit. If you have not completed at least 12 hours of college credit or more, we will also need your official high school or GED transcripts. If you are not yet 22 years of age and have not completed 12 hours of college credit from an accredited institution, official ACT or SAT scores are required.
All official transcripts from ALL previous colleges and/or universities as well as official test scores, if required, must be mailed to:
Loyola University New Orleans
6363 St. Charles Ave.
Campus Box 18
New Orleans, LA 70118
Regular admission cannot be guaranteed without the above.
NOTE: All college, high school and GED transcripts must be received in the original sealed, unopened envelope from the institution where that course work was completed for the transcript to be considered official.
Transfer credits are individually evaluated to permit maximum transfer of university credits where compatible with Loyola requirements. At least 25 percent of the semester credit hours required for the degree must be earned through instruction offered by Loyola.
Loyola accepts up to 64 credit hours from regionally accredited two-year institutions, and Loyola has articulation agreements with some two-year institutions. To have your transfer credits evaluated in a pre-admission meeting, please contact our office at (504) 865-2976 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule an appointment.
Each degree-seeking student is assigned an academic advisor who will assist the student in educational planning. Students are encouraged to meet with their advisors regularly during each term.
Most adult students attend classes during the summer to stay on track and expedite graduation. Adult, part-time students pay their regular fall and spring tuition rate even in the summer. Check out the this summer's session dates and course schedule here. Contact our office with any questions or if you need more information at (504)865-2976 or email@example.com.
