Late Nights at Loyola, September 23rd

On September 23rd, Late Nights at Loyola hosted their first event with the kids from Anna’s Place. The theme was “Green” so the students learned the differences in leaves by looking at an angiosperm, frond, grass, and conifer leaf under a microscope. They learned about the components of soil, and how the different layers affected the growth of plants. And, the students learned about the importance of greenhouses by completing a scavenger hunt in the Azby Greenhouse. The students had a great time and can’t wait to come back to the next event! Please join us on October 28th from 5 until 7 for the next Late Nights at Loyola.
