Dr. Hillary Eklund wins the CAS Faculty Excellence in Advising Award in 2022 while Dr. Chris Schaberg has articles published about student learning during the pandemic

Provost Distinguished Professor of English, Dr. Hillary Eklund, won the College of Arts and Sciences Faculty Excellence in Advising Award for 2022. Meanwhile, Dorothy Harrell Brown Distinguished Professor of English and Director of the Center for Editing and Publishing, Dr. Christopher Schaberg, penned the article, "Quitting Academic Twitter" for Inside Higher Education this May.

This past January, Dr. Schaberg also wrote for Times Higher Education about the extra workload that today's students have to assume in this digital age. His latest book, Pedagogy of the Depressed, was released earlier this year. Also, in a related article appearing in Slate this past February, Dr. Schaberg wrote about the mental health crisis students were facing due to the pandemic.
