Ben Sines graduated this past May as an English-Writing major.   Ben was the recipient of the Outstanding English Writing Major Award at this year's HUNS Convocation.  Ben is also a co-founder of 1718 and its current co-director, and the pastry chef at Mat and Naddie’s restaurant.  If you see Ben around town, stop and talk with him about petunias, the weather, the way sunlight strikes a rain puddle, a good haiku, or a peach you just ate that made you remember how to smile.
